Today we hear the farewell words of Jesus. He is about to leave. He will go to the house of the Father with his death on the Cross and his Ascension to the heavens. The last memory He leaves us is his own Love: love one another as I love you. - Do you love everyone, without enemies? Ask Jesus for a big heart like his own.

Leo XIV calls for renewed sense of mystery in Western liturgy
“The Church needs you!” Pope Leo XIV told Eastern Rite Catholics, praising the immense contribution of the Christian East. He emphasized the need for the West to recover the deep sense of mystery found in Eastern liturgies, to rediscover the primacy of God and to embrace “penance, fasting, and weeping for one’s own sins and for those of all humanity.”
